Touched a new 52-week high today. Recent comparisons showed sales and earnings acceleration, and it is due to report earnings tomorrow. COH recently wedged to new highs without great volume conviction after a deep consolidation below its 200 DMA line since it was last noted in the 6/10/10 mid-day report. Noted following a 3-year hiatus in the 4/20/10 mid-day report - "Recent quarters showed improving sales and earnings, but today its quarterly and annual earnings history are below the investment system guidelines. COH was previously a Featured Stock that put up great gains and matched the investment system criteria near its Oct 2002 appearance and later."

Up again today after considerable gains last week with heavy volume helped it hit new 52-week highs and clear stubborn resistance. Recent mid-day reports noted - "It found support near its 200 DMA line since it was last noted in the 4/30/10 mid-day report. Once again, no overhead supply remains to act as resistance, but the $22 area acted as a resistance level in the past. This Singapore-based maker of diesel engines for trucks and busses in China also went through a deep correction since noted in the mid-day report on 1/12/10. - 'Up and down annual earnings (A criteria) leaves fundamental concerns.'"

Hitting another new 52-week high today. It steadily rose after recent mid-day reports noted - "Extended from prior chart highs in the $25-26 area. It rallied from an inverse-head-and-shoulders type pattern since finding support at its 200 DMA following the previously noted 'breakaway gap' on 4/27/10. Leadership in the Auto/Truck - Replacement Parts group (L criteria) is a reassuring sign. The C criteria is satisfied as recent quarterly comparisons show earnings increases above the +25% guideline on +15%-20% better sales versus the year ago period. Its up and down annual earnings history (A criteria) is a concern."

Gapped up today and touched a new 52-week high following a considerable gain with heavy volume on the prior session. Due to report earnings on Mon, November 8, 2010 before the open. It found support while consolidating above prior highs since noted in the 10/05/10 mid-day report. No overhead supply remains to hinder its progress. Recent quarters show great sales and earnings increases versus minuscule numbers for the year ago period. It completed an additional offering on 4/15/10 and attracted an increasing number of top-rated funds as shareholders. Limited history is a concern, as is the industry group's current Relative Strength rating of 65. The L criteria suggests odds are best when buying stocks in a leading group.

Quarterly comparisons show sales and earnings increases mostly below guidelines of the fact-based investment system. Headlines last week were swirling over FDA approval of certain drugs while this Denmark-based Medical - Ethical Drug firm endured 2 big gaps down followed by a big gap up, with the rebound action noted -"Indicative of prompt institutional support near its prior chart highs and 50 DMA line."

Up again today after a considerable gap up gain on 10/22/10 helped it blast above its 2007 all-time high ($52) following another strong earnings report showing impressive acceleration. Technically there is no overhead supply to hinder its progress. Noted in prior mid-day reports - "Extended from any sound base after rallying from support above its 50 DMA line. The San Francisco, CA-based firm in the Computer-Networking industry is a strong turn-around story, but the downward turn in FY '08 hurts its annual earnings (A criteria) track record."
