Hitting yet another new all-time high while on track today for a 7th consecutive volume-driven gain. Found support at its 50 DMA line on its pullback after it technically broke out of a previously noted orderly base pattern. Noted in prior mid-day reports - " Quarterly earnings increases have been mostly strong and backed by solid sales revenues increases, but the -16% earnings in its Jun '11 quarter is a flaw concerning the C criteria. This Luxembourg-based Financial Services firm's small supply (S criteria) of only 16.2 million shares in the public float can contribute to greater volatility in the event of institutional buying or selling. ASPS was dropped from the Featured Stocks list on 10/07/10 then violated its 200 DMA with a streak of volume-driven losses, and it subsequently rebounded back above its 200 DMA and 50 DMA lines."

Perched near its 52-week high after a spurt of volume-driven gains. Prior mid-day reports noted - "Quarterly earnings increases in recent comparisons have shown great improvement however the sub par sales revenues growth and annual earnings (A criteria) history is not a good match with the fact-based investment system's guidelines. Technically the low-priced stock broke out last week."

Gapped down today, abruptly retreating from its 52-week high hit last week after wedging higher without great volume conviction. Its 50 DMA line defines important chart support. Recent quarterly earnings have been above the +25% guideline while sales revenues increases have been decelerating. A downturn in FY '09 earnings (A criteria) is a flaw with respect to the fact-based investment system.

Encountering distributional pressure and slumping near its 50 DMA line today. Recently inched into new high territory without great volume conviction behind its gains since last noted in the 12/19/11 mid-day report - "Reported earnings +19% on +12% sales for the quarter ended October 31, 2011 versus the year ago period, below the fact-based investment system's guidelines. Good annual earnings history and quarterly earnings increases above the +25% meet the investment system's C and A guidelines, however sales revenues have shown just steady increases in the +12-14% range."

Perched within close striking distance of its all-time. It has earned high ranks however its earnings history is not a good match with the fact-based system's guidelines. Went through a long consolidation and slumped below its 200 DMA line from the old high which was hit when noted in the 12/07/10 mid-day report - "Extended from prior chart highs in the $25-26 area. It rallied from an inverse-head-and-shoulders type pattern since finding support at its 200 DMA following the previously noted 'breakaway gap' on 4/27/10. Leadership in the Auto/Truck - Replacement Parts group (L criteria) is a reassuring sign. The C criteria is satisfied as recent quarterly comparisons show earnings increases above the +25% guideline on +15%-20% better sales versus the year ago period. Its up and down annual earnings history (A criteria) is a concern."

Considerable gap up gain today for a new 52-week high, blasting out of a "double bottom" base well above a prior base pattern which may be considered a riskier late-stage base. Reported earnings +40% on +24% sales revenues for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 versus the year ago period. Concerns were noted in the 12/21/11 mid-day report - "On 11/18/11 it priced the previously announced new Public Offering of 3.3 million shares at $16.25. Held its ground and made recent progress above prior highs after the previously noted 10/21/11 gap up from a cup-with-handle type base. Earnings improved by more than +25% in recent quarterly comparisons (Mar, Jun, Sep '11) satisfying the C criteria, but its annual (A criteria) earnings history included a downturn in FY '10, a flaw with respect to the fact-based investment system's guidelines."
