This low-priced firm in the pharmaceuticals business is challenging its 52-week high today after a 4-week consolidation. Touched yet another new high today. Prior mid-day reports noted - "Rallied to new all-time high territory with a recent spurt of volume-driven gains. Technically, it broke out with a considerable gain on 10/27/11. Quarterly earnings increases have been mostly strong and backed by solid sales revenues increases, but the -16% earnings in its Jun '11 quarter is a flaw concerning the C criteria. This Luxembourg-based Financial Services firm's small supply (S criteria) of only 16.2 million shares in the public float can contribute to greater volatility in the event of institutional buying or selling. ASPS was dropped from the Featured Stocks list on 10/07/10 then violated its 200 DMA with a streak of volume-driven losses, and it subsequently rebounded back above its 200 DMA and 50 DMA lines."

Rising within striking distance of its 52-week high with a second consecutive volume-driven gain today. Prior mid-day reports noted - "Sales revenues increases showed modest acceleration in recent quarterly comparisons while earnings improved. Annual earnings (A criteria) history has not been strong and steady. Low-priced stocks are discouraged from consideration as buy candidates under the fact-based system unless all key criteria are solidly satisfied."

Hit another new 52-week high today, getting more extended from any sound base pattern. Prior mid-day reports noted - "Held its ground stubbornly above its 50 DMA line after rising from a previously noted orderly 5-week consolidation. Recent quarterly comparisons have shown strong sales revenues and earnings increases (good C criteria). Losses in FY '07 & '08 are a flaw concerning the investment system's A criteria, and consensus estimates calling for lackluster earnings in FY '12 and FY '13 are additional cause for concern."

Consolidating above its 50 DMA line and -7.5% off its 52-week high today. The 11/28/11 mid-day report noted - "Leadership in the Cosmetics/Personal Care industry group (L criteria) is reassuring. Found support near its 200 DMA line during its consolidation in recent months. Recent quarters showed much improved earnings increases versus the year earlier while sales revenue growth rate has been in the +3-11% range. Its annual earnings (A criteria) growth has not been strong and steady, so it is fundamentally below guidelines of the fact-based investment system."

Churned above average volume without making meaningful price progress above prior highs in recent weeks, action indicative of distributional pressure. It is extended from prior chart highs in the $14 area. The 10/27/11 mid-day report noted - "Rising from what may be considered a high handle. Held its ground above prior highs during its consolidation since gapping up on 10/13/11 after a 13-week cup shaped based base. Limited earnings history and trading history since its 5/26/11 IPO at $12 is a concern."
