Y -Still consolidating just above its 50 DMA line defining important near-term chart support. A violation of its short-term average and recent chart low ($62.71 on 11/01/11) would raise concerns and trigger technical sell signals.

Touched a new 52-week high today and no overhead supply remains to act as resistance. The 10/24/11 mid-day report noted - "The 2 latest quarterly comparisons (Apr and Jul '11) showed better sales revenues and earnings increases but prior quarters and its annual earnings (A criteria) history fall short of the fact-based investment system's guidelines. Low-priced stocks are considered riskier candidates and typically should be avoided unless all key criteria are solidly satisfied."

Holding its ground stubbornly with volume totals cooling since last noted in the 11/03/11 mid-day report - "Rallied to new all-time high territory with a recent spurt of volume-driven gains. Technically, it broke out with a considerable gain on 10/27/11. Quarterly earnings increases have been mostly strong and backed by solid sales revenues increases, but the -16% earnings in its Jun '11 quarter is a flaw concerning the C criteria. This Luxembourg-based Financial Services firm's small supply (S criteria) of only 16.2 million shares in the public float can contribute to greater volatility in the event of institutional buying or selling. ASPS was dropped from the Featured Stocks list on 10/07/10 then violated its 200 DMA with a streak of volume-driven losses, and it subsequently rebounded back above its 200 DMA and 50 DMA lines."

Holding its ground near its 52-week high since the previously noted 10/21/11 gap up from a cup-with-handle type base. Earnings improved by more than +25% in recent quarterly comparisons (Mar, Jun, Sep '11) satisfying the C criteria, but its annual (A criteria) earnings history included a downturn in FY '10, a flaw with respect to the fact-based investment system's guidelines.

Holding its ground and inching higher since a breakaway gap on 11/08/11 from a deep cup shaped base. Following several years of operating losses (bad A criteria) it has shown strong sales revenues increases and produced solid earnings versus year-ago losses for the quarterly comparisons in Mar, Jun, and Sep '11.

Consolidating above its 50 DMA line -5% off its 52-week high following volume-driven gains that helped it recently rally from an orderly base pattern. Leadership in the Cosmetics/Personal Care industry group (L criteria) is reassuring. Found support near its 200 DMA line during its consolidation in recent months. Recent quarters showed much improved earnings increases versus the year earlier while sales revenue growth rate has been in the +3-11% range. Its annual earnings (A criteria) growth has not been strong and steady, so it is fundamentally below guidelines of the fact-based investment system.

Perched -6.1% off its 52-week and all-time high today. Noted in the 10/27/11 mid-day report after rebounding from a deep consolidation below its 50 and 200 DMA lines - "Its annual earnings (A criteria) history has not been strong and steady, yet the 3 latest quarterly earnings increases above the +25% guideline (Mar, Jun, Sep '11) satisfied the C criteria. It survived but failed to impress since it was dropped from the Featured Stocks list on 9/17/08."
