Gapped down today following an analyst downgrade after challenging its all-time high again on the prior session. Found support at its 200 DMA line again during the latest consolidation from its prior high hit when last noted in the 9/20/11 mid-day report. It has a good annual earnings (A criteria) history. Its past 2 quarterly comparisons (Mar and Jun '11) showed earnings per share increases greater than the +25% minimum increase expected under the investment system's guidelines, however sales revenues growth has decelerated Ownership by top-rated funds rose from 731 in Mar '11 to 807 in Sep '11, a reassuring sign concerning the I criteria.

The 10/10/11 mid-day report noted - "Reported earnings +11% on +10% sales revenues for the quarter ended July 31, 2011 versus the year ago period, below the fact-based system's guidelines. Since noted in the 6/24/11 mid-day report it surged to a new 52-week high in July, then slumped under its 200 DMA line during a deep consolidation. Proposed yet another Secondary Offering on 5/31/11. During 2010 it completed a Public Offering and two Secondary Offerings."

Consolidating near support at its 200 DMA line and above recent chart lows. Prior mid-day reports recently noted - "It has the look of an ominous head-and-shoulders pattern formed over the past 5 months. Reported earnings +16% on +26% sales revenues for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 versus the year ago period. The company has a strong annual earnings history (A criteria). The C criteria has not been well satisfied by +25% earnings increases in quarterly comparisons. Blue triangles beside the quarterly earnings figure in at least the past 8 comparisons indicate pre-tax, non-recurring items were included (where possible, such items are normally removed to provide data better suited for comparison). The restaurant operator survived but failed to impress as it went through several long and very deep corrections since it was dropped from the CANSLIM.net Featured Stocks List on 8/15/2007."

Earnings history is below the guidelines of the fact-based system. Hit a new 52-week high today and no resistance remains due to overhead supply after its impressive rebound. Small gap up today has it on track for a 6th consecutive gain and challenging its 52-week high after rebounding from another slump below its 50 DMA and 200 DMA lines. Quarterly sales revenues increases in the +6-8% are below the robust growth guidelines of the investment system. Noted in recent mid-day reports- "Its earnings and sales revenues showed improvement in the recent quarterly comparisons but its growth history is below the fundamental guidelines of the investment system. Current earnings per share should be up +25% or more and the past 3 or 4 comparisons in many cases accelerating in recent quarters. Quarterly sales should also be up +18-25% or more or accelerating over prior quarters."
