Pulling back today with above average volume while retreating from its 52-week high. Reported earnings +50% on +22% sales for the Mar '13 quarter. Held its ground stubbornly above prior highs after gapping up from below its 50 DMA line on 4/23/13. In only 2 of the 4 prior quarterly comparisons the earnings increase was above the +25% minimum earnings guideline (C criteria). Previously noted downturn in its FY '09 earnings hurt its annual earnings history (A criteria) of the fact-based investment system.

Up from earlier lows following a gap down today. Recently rallied to new 52-week highs with volume-driven gains lifting it from an orderly base pattern. Prior highs in the $8 area define initial chart support on pullbacks. Earnings increases in recent quarterly comparisons through Mar '13 were strong and satisfied the C criteria (above the +25% minimum guideline). Found support at its 200 DMA line during its consolidation since last noted in the 1/14/13 mid-day report with caution- "Underlying fundamentals (annual earnings history, A criteria) remain a concern. Recent quarters showed big earnings improvements over the year ago period. However, sales revenues increases have been erratic, below guidelines, and rather minuscule (at $5-8 million per quarter). Low priced stocks are discouraged from consideration under the fact-based investment system unless all key criteria are solidly satisfied."
