For the quarter ended March 31, 2010 it reported +111% earnings on +11% sales versus the year ago period, showing modest acceleration in revenues growth. It stubbornly held its ground since the Secondary Offering (proposed 3/22 and completed 3/31) when it was noted in the 3/31/10 mid-day report - "rising from a choppy 7-week base. There is no overhead supply to act as resistance, yet it is up substantially from a low of $0.47 in Nov '08. Recent quarterly comparisons showed huge earnings increases, however sub par sales revenues growth reveals no great growth in demand for its products or services. Cardtronics will not receive any of the proceeds from the secondary offering of 7 Million shares of its common stock by the selling stockholders just announced. Piper Jaffray & Co. and UBS Securities LLC are the joint book-running managers for the offering. William Blair & Company and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey are acting as co-managers."

Its up and down annual (the A criteria) earnings history makes it a sub par candidate, and sales revenues increases have been in the +7% to +17% range, not especially strong or meeting the +25% guideline."
