Hitting a new 52-week high with above average volume behind today's 3rd straight gain in a streak of 7 consecutive gains. Found support while recently consolidating above prior highs in the $34 area, however it has not formed a base of sufficient length. Patient investors may watch for a new base to possibly form and be noted in the weeks ahead. Prior mid-day reports noted - "Earnings +36% on +23% sales revenues for the Sep '13 quarter marked its 5th consecutive quarterly comparison with earnings above the +25% minimum guideline (C criteria). There is some old overhead supply remaining up through the $45 level, but prior highs from more than a year and three quarters ago are not usually counted as a substantial source of resistance."

Traded above average volume while retreating from its new 52-week high hit last week. Held its ground stubbornly and made gradual progress since last noted in the 10/07/13 mid-day report with caution - "It has earned high ranks and its prior quarterly and annual earnings (C and A criteria) history had been strong, however, quarterly earnings comparisons showed worrisome deceleration while increasing by +62%, +53%, +26%, and +10% over the Jul '12, Oct '12, Jan '13 and Apr '13 periods, respectively. The Jul '13 quarter was also below the +25% minimum guideline (C criteria) of the fact-based system. Pulled back near support at its 50 DMA line, enduring distributional pressure this week. This China-based firm had a "negative reversal" for a loss on heavy volume after touching a new 52-week high on 12/02/13 as its CEO/Chairman announced his resignation. Reported earnings +25% on +29% sales revenues for the Sep '13 quarter, but fundamental concerns remain. Showed mostly bullish action since a technical breakout from an orderly base on 9/09/13. Prior mid-day reports repeatedly cautioned members - "Reported earnings +32% on +29% sales for the Jun '13 quarter. The 3 prior quarterly comparisons versus the year ago periods came in below the +25% minimum earnings (C criteria) guideline for buy candidates, contributing to a flaw in its annual earnings (A criteria)."

Consolidating above its 50 DMA line and -4.5% off its 52-week high after showing some resilience following a streak of damaging volume-driven losses. Reported earnings +19% on +128% sales revenues for the Sep '13 quarter, below the +25% minimum earnings guideline (C criteria). Ownership by top-rated funds fell from 512 in Mar '13 to 481 in Sep '13, not a reassuring trend concerning the I criteria.
