Hit yet another new 52-week high today, extended from any sound base after a recently noted streak of gains. It reported +17% earnings on +11% sales revenues for the quarter ended September 30, 2010 versus the year ago period. Held its ground stubbornly and continued rallying since noted in mid-day reports in September - "Rising above stubborn resistance in the $13 area with no overhead supply remaining to hinder its progress. Sales (+16%) and earnings (+50%) increases in the June 30, 2010 ended quarter showed acceleration after streak of comparisons showing weak or negative sales revenues versus the year ago period. It has a good annual earnings (A criteria) history."

Rallying toward its recent 52-week high and approaching its 2007 all-time high($54). Quarterly comparisons showed improving sales and earnings above the +25% guideline in the Mar, Jun, and Sep '10 after a streak of flat or negative sales and earnings comparisons and a downward turn in FY '09 earnings (flaw in regard to the A criteria). A breakaway gap followed its earnings news immediately after it was last noted in the mid-day report on 10/25/10 as - "It wedged to new highs without great volume conviction after a deep consolidation below its 200 DMA line since it was last noted in the 6/10/10 mid-day report. Noted following a 3-year hiatus in the 4/20/10 mid-day report - 'Recent quarters showed improving sales and earnings, but today its quarterly and annual earnings history are below the investment system guidelines. COH was previously a Featured Stock that put up great gains and matched the investment system criteria near its Oct 2002 appearance and later.'"

Hitting new 52-week and all-time highs today, with no resistance due to overhead supply. The 11/16/10 mid-day report noted - "Its annual earnings results showed a small downturn in '07, which is a minor flaw concerning the A criteria which calls for 3-5 years of steady earnings growth. Quarterly sales revenues and earnings increases are not solidly meeting the guidelines with respect to the C criteria. The stock is somewhat heavily owned (percentage-wise) by funds relative to its management's small 6% reported ownership. Top-rated funds owning an interest decreased from 605 in Mar '09 to 585 in Sep '10, which is not good news concerning the I criteria (NOTE: Prior notes on this and other stocks cited top-rated US funds, and now our source is including foreign funds and hedge funds in their totals reported)."
